(1) If a bond or surety has to be kept for doing any work and the bond or surety has to be confiscated due to non-completion of such work, the authorized officer shall make a decision and confiscate the amount of such bond or surety.
(2) According to Rule 177, if the remaining amount of the Nepalese government or local body is to be recovered from the person who gets the refund, such amount can be recovered by confiscating the refund amount.
(3) The amount as per sub-rules (1) and (2) shall be deposited in the treasury of the local body. But the amount of Nepal Government should be sent to the concerned office.
(4) Information about the action taken in accordance with sub-rule (1) or (2) shall be given to the person holding the bond.
